EON Productions are proud to support The Shot List, a cultural exchange designed to showcase the best films from Caribbean and Black filmmakers based in the UK, Barbados, and Jamaica. The event, now in its third year, is a collaborative effort between award-winning film exhibition and distribution company We Are Parable and the Jamaican Film and Television Association (JAFTA).
Since its launch in 2022, The Shot List has attracted over 1500 attendees, reflecting its growing influence and importance in the film community. Originally conceived as a project between the British Council, JAFTA, and We Are Parable, this cultural exchange continues to foster creativity and collaboration among filmmakers of Caribbean descent.
Scheduled to take place at Hope Gardens, Kingston, on Sunday, May 26, The Shot List offers a day filled with masterclasses, screenings, discussions, and music. The event aims to celebrate and elevate the voices of Black and Caribbean filmmakers, providing them with a platform to reach a broader audience.
